At the heart of www.hkindiemusic.com is a simple concept: Fair Music, Fair Deal. We make the music, put it out there, and try to make an honest living with the support of music lovers. To consumers, we are saying, “Our music is available; if you like it, buy it here.” No tricks.
"How about security measures? How can you make sure people will pay for the music? How can you prevent them from spreading the files around after they pay? How can you be sure it will work?"
Honestly, I do not know the answers; in fact, I am not too concerned with the answers. People will spread the music anyway, regardless of how and where they get the files, or how much the content providers spend to combat piracy. Personally, I do not see music lovers as thieves; if we show them good faith, and release good music, we will receive their support in return.
Together, we can make this happen and change the face of music in Hong Kong, perhaps the world.

Let us make it really simple: you download them, they're yours, you can do whatever you want to with the music, play them while cleaning the house, forward them to friends, use them as soundtrack to your own daily life, or anything creative you could think of.
Here's the steps:
1. Create an account here. Log in. Add song/s to the shopping cart
2. Check out when you're done. You can use your paypal account or just by credit cards.
3. You will be re-directed to the paypal/credit card interface. After following the instructions, click on the "return to store" yellow button.
4. You will see the original "add to cart" buttons turned into "download' buttons when coming back to the online store, simply click it, the song/s are yours.
Do I HAVE to register?
Yes. For you and for us to keep track on what you have been supporting, to avoid future confusion in case something goes wrong technically, like you accidentally deleted your purchases, computer crash etc.
What will I receive?
You will receive the mp3 file/s, then you could add them to your media player, without any furthur physical restrictions. You can do freely with what you have.
